Dr. Wood received his Sc. D. from the Massachusettes Institute of Technology in 1974. He is currently a professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at and the director of the Environmental Engineering and Water Resources Program, both at Priceston University. His current activities include the Global Energy and Water Experiment (GEWEX) Continental Scale Project (Chairman, Hydrology Science Panel), the NASA Earth Observing System (EOS) Working Group on Physical Climate and Hydrology, and theNASA Landsat Science Working Group.
