About the CHARM Google Map
The CHARM map was reimplemented in Google Maps by Erik Reimers in May 2009. It bypasses KML, and instead
is written directly in JavaScript with the Google Maps API. Lots of different internet sources were consulted
(see below). I expect the list of sources to grow as I add more features. To work with Google Maps, a general
working knowledge of JavaScript is quite helpful for writing in the API. For most (non-dynamic) uses of Google
Maps, I'd recommend just going through the Google Maps page, making a KML file, storing it on their server,
and linking to it from there.
