This image was made from data sensed by the ATLAS scanner aboard the NASA Lear jet in May 1999. The area is in southwestern Georgia. Bands 4, 6 and 13 were used to make the image by assigning them to the Blue, Green and Red guns of your computer display. Evident within this image are patterns of irrigation (circular areas), bodies of water (deep red), wooded areas (green), and man made features. These features become more apparent as we zoom into the data at its native resolution.
